Baptism: Members of the parish who wish to have a child baptized should contact Father Sweeney or Deacon Vic Landa through email or phone about a period of instruction. After the instruction, a date may be set for the celebration of the sacrament.
Holy Matrimony: A Catholic who wishes to be married in the Church must contact Father Sweeney or Deacon Vic Landa at least six months in advance. This is a period of discernment and instruction in the sacramental nature of Holy Matrimony. It involves meeting with Father or Deacon Vic several times as well as attending an Engaged Encounter weekend. Our diocesan website has a great deal of helpful information concerning the sacrament. There you will also find the link to Engaged Encounter. http://dioknox.org/marriage-preparation-and-enrichment/getting-married/
Eucharist and Confirmation: Children of the parish prepare for these sacraments through participation in our religious education program. More information on our Religious Education Program can be found here at: Religious Education for Youth The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process established by the universal Catholic Church for persons to become Catholic and receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist. RCIA is for persons who have never been baptized or who have been baptized in a non-Catholic Christian tradition, as well as adult Catholics who have been baptized, but have not received the Sacraments of Confirmation and/or Holy Eucharist. More information on our RCIA process can be found here: RCIA
