FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION of the Blessed Sacrament will be held this Friday, July 5 ^that Blessed Sacrament Church.  Mass at 6 p.m. followed by adoration with benediction at 7:30 p.m. Praying with Jesus – the  Evening Prayer will follow benediction.  All are welcome.

Starting Sunday, May 5^th, and continuing for twelve weeks, Father Sweeney is conducting a “ Crash Course on Catholicism”, or as he calls it, “ A Survey of our Catholic Faith”, or  Catholic Education. Planned topics are: One God in Three Persons; Jesus, Begotten Son of God; Holy Spirit, God’s Personal Presence Among Us; Creation; Salvation; The Meaning of Life; Divine Revelation; and Magisterium.   This is held Sundays from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. in the Holy Family Room at St. Ann.  All are welcome any time during this course.

Answer:"... Since God alone can forgive sins, it is God who, in Jesus his eternal Son made man, "will save his people from their sins".  In Jesus, God recapitulates all of his history of salvation on behalf of men." (CCC #430)
