Also remember in your prayers the homebound, those in nursing homes, those who have no one to pray for them,
those in prisons, physical or mental, for priests who speak the truth from the pulpit and for those who don’t,
and those who have unspoken prayer requests.
CALENDARS FOR 2021 and ST. JOSEPH MISSALS for the new liturgical year are both available in the narthex. Suggested donation is $2 for the calendars and $3 for the missals.

Special Question: What is the Immaculate Conception?
Answer: The Immaculate Conception is the teaching of the Church that Mary received the saving grace of Jesus Christ at her conception and was therefore born without original sin. This was in preparation for her becoming the mother of Jesus: the Son of God. To put it another way. Mary received the same saving grace we receive when we are baptized. She simply received it earlier.
Question #168: During the sacrament of penance, (confession) the penitent offers an "act of contrition." What is contrition?
