The wellbeing of our children and parishioners is paramount. In every way, we want to make absolutely sure that parish activities and environs are safe and that our children feel secure. Bridget Thew has served as our Child safety minister for several years. Her responsibilities vary widely but she is vigilant and dedicated. Bridget oversees our Child Safety training and makes sure we are in compliance with diocesan regulations concerning the safety of children and vulnerable adults. Every person 18 years and older, who routinely comes into contact with our children, must complete a workshop to alert them to signs of abuse and exactly what to do if they suspect something. Additionally, they must have a background check completed and they are obligated to familiarize themselves with all relevant diocesan regulations.
