*Father Michael's "Penny Catechism" (A fun and informative little morsel of Catholic teaching and trivia)* Last week's question along with the answer:
Question #135: Christians frequently speak the name of Jesus. What does the word "Jesus" mean? Where did it come from?
Answer:The catechism says it best: "Jesus means in Hebrew: 'God saves.' At the annunciation, the angel Gabriel gave him the name Jesus as his proper name, which expresses both his identity and his mission." (CCC #430 See Luke 1:31)
Question #136: What is a sacrarium and where is it located?
The answer will appear in next week's bulletin along with a new question.
